KERNOW MICROSCOPICAL SOCIETY

The Kernow Microscopical Society is composed of a group of enthusiasts including scientists, artists, engineers and others with interests in microscopes of all types, their history, preservation and use, and who are interested in a wide variety of fields such as botany, geology, freshwater and marine organisms (including diatoms), insects, zoology and materials sciences.


Our members have varying levels of expertise in microscopy.  A number are scientists and have publications in a variety of fields.  There are also microscope instrument specialists.

Advice and assistance are available on the use and care of microscopes, applications, specimen preparation plus study and experimental methodology. Photographic expertise covers macro, micro and video fields.
